As members are readying their boats for launch, I just want to remind everyone that the Jackson's Point Harbour does not officially open until May 17th. From May 1st until the Victoria day weekend (in May), SGA boats may be docked at their allocated slips in the harbour, but the town will provide no staffing, monitoring or security,and boats that are in the harbour at this time are left there entirely at the owner's risk. From the Victoria day weekend (in May) until the Thanksgiving weekend (in October), the harbour will be staffed and operational. The town will be supplying Vice Commodore Neil with both parking permits and gate keys May 1. Slip assignments are posted at http://sailgeorgina.googlepages.com/slipassignments
